• ADNOC-Distribution is fully (100%) owned by ADNOC Main, it’s not a joint venture like some other oil companies such as ADMA, ADCO, GASCO, etc..

ADNOC-FOD. However, in 1999 this name changed into

ADNOC Distribution .

• The purpose of establishing ADNOC Distribution is to import, export, store & distribute oil products in UAE instead of foreign companies.

Main Highlights• 1973 - The Company is incorporated as ADNOC

FOD – The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution.

• 1974 - Assets of the company bought over from foreign oil companies

• 1982 – ADNOC-Distribution took a new revolutionary step in assuming the responsibility of being the only company looking after fuelling aircraft at the new Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Main Highlights• 1975 - ADNOC FOD is ready to start

operations.

• 1976 - The Company ventures into aviation and shipping fuel, the first ADNOC Distribution Service Station is established.

• 1985 - The company started selling directly to the local and international market.

• 1994 - ADNOC FOD becomes the sole aircraft fuel supplier at Al Ain International Airport, the Company is also honored with the prestigious Europe International Award for Quality.

• 1999 – The company acquired a new corporate identity as to Name, Logo, Image & Services.
