Selection of villages

Mandal:

Mandals where Health and Nutrition centres are running

Mandals where Institution Building is strong.

Mandals with higher proportion of SC/ST population/PoP.

At present ECE centres are opened only in rural tribal mandals

Village:

Villages having higher number of children between the ages of 2 – 5

belonging to the Poorest of Poor (POP) families 8

Location of ECE centre in the village

Must be nearer to the place where

population of kids are more.

The place should be away from ponds

and wells.

The place should be easily accessible.

Instructor/teacher

Local person

The candidate must have fluency in speaking the local dialect.

The candidates with cultural and artistic talents will be preferred.

The Instructors selected through a Written Test and Interview which is

conducted by an expert team from the state level resource team.

The Instructors are trained at the State level resource centers.

Provide the children what they gained during training

He should treat them carefully
