ABOUT THE INSTITUTE The Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering, Tadepalligudem was established in the year 2002 with an aim of providing qualitative technical education to the society at large. The Institute was started by Sri B. Venu Gopala Krishna, a distinguished academician who is running 18 Educational Institutions successfully under the aegis of Sasi Educational Society, Velivennu for the past 35 glorious years. The College is located in 28 acres of sprawling serene environment. It is one of the best performing colleges in AP, celebrating 15th year of excellence in the service of the nation by shaping the careers of individuals in Professional Studies. Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering provides state-of-the art facilities, infrastructure and competent faculty to its learning community. The college is permanently affiliated to JNTUK, Kakinada and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The Institute has bagged NAAC Accreditation with ‘A’ grade, 3 courses have been Accredited by NBA and is offering 6 UG courses and 7 PG courses. About the Department: Mechanical Engineering Department was established in the year of 2002 and has been consistently maintaining growth in academics, placements as well as student admission quality. It has excellent infrastructure and equipment. The department offers UG & PG Courses with an intake of 180 & 18 respectively. It constitutes 34 faculty members which includes 3 Doctorates. Our alumni were placed in many reputed public & private sector organizations.
