It has been such a privilege growing and experiencing all that the society has to offer. As one of my last “President's Corner” is be- ing created many thoughts are flowing through my head. From my first Christmas Party in ‘12 where I felt so out of place going, but how my feelings changed as I got there and all the nerves turned to freedom and fun, gambling for some new orchids to take home. HA! I have so many great memories, I wish i could share them all. Another favorite of mine was the first plant order we opened at my house for the February aucon in ‘13. It was kinda like Christmas, just renng the plants for awhile and keeping them safe unl our meeng where they would be bid on. The only reason I could keep them is because my collecon was only about 20-30 plants at the me. I’m excited for the new officers to come on board and bring some fresh ideas to the society. We will connue to grow if we all can help out now and then. We really need some people to step up for our big Fall Sale. We are bringing a lot of plants in from Hawaii and need support selling them as well as memberships to the newbies. We have some two hour slots open for volunteering at the show and hope to get to know a few of you a lile beer. Let’s all bring a plant in for show and tell as well as a friend to show and tell as well. Come on people I know there are more orchid lovers in Palm Beach County and we need to meet them. See you all soon! Your President - Jacob Galeski Linda Grecco and Gloria Kennedy enjoying orchids from Tony Romani, R&R Orchids, at the October meeng.
