had not used the database template. this would read

repositor1 would be created rom scratch.@hen prompted. run the root
scripts. then click the >!A> button.#ake note o the 5&'s.
then click the >%lose> button to exit the installer. - cop1 o

the screen it lists the post-installation setup tasks 1ou need to

%ontrol is set to auto-start usin$ the >$cstartup> service.
The >/etc/ora$chomelist> ile contains the items that will be
started b1 the
s1stem.*u.!*a++*oracle*oms!-cr5*oms*u.!*a++*oracle*agent!-c*core*!-.!...5..4*u.!*a++*oracle*agent!-c*agent&inst!n
a simple installation the deault auto-start will cause a problem as
%loud %ontrol will attempt to start beore the database has started.
The service can be disabled in the ollowin$ wa1.# service gcstartu+
sto+# chkcon1ig gcstartu+ o113 preer to comment out (usin$ B, all
the contents o the >/etc/ora$chomelist> ile to prevent the
auto-start and use start/stop scripts described below.3 the
start/stop needs to be automated. 1ou can do it in the usual wa1
usin$ 'inux service that calls 1our start/stop scripts that include
