Virtual Prototyping
With Optitex 3D Virtual Prototyping, the process of creating accurate samples has truly been revolutionized. Instead of sending real patterns back and forth to suppliers, one can create, view and edit the initial samples in one place, drastically reducing the time spent on developing products, and getting them to the market quickly.
Accurate, custom-made models help maintain fit standards across the entire collection of products and even across manufacturers. Our 3D avatars can be modified to meet the specifications so that an accurate preview can be performed, without having to call together a fit session. These models have over 60 parameters modify, ensuring that a model that is custom-fit to specific requirements, can be created.
With each version of Optitex, our 3D Virtualization tools continue to evolve to meet a growing number of needs. Our 3D tools allow our users to simulate a large number of design elements: Hardware like buttons, zippers, pulls, buckles and rivets.

Direct ConvertersThe Converters read and convert CAD files such as the Gerber, Lectra, Investronica and Microdynamics native formats, directly into Optitex format, while maintaining piece, model and order data. Direct Converters save precious time by eliminating data transfer difficulties that can occur using standard transfer formats such as DXF and AAMA, even when used by inexperienced operators.
Import/ExportTen different file formats are importable while over twenty formats are exportable. Whether using automatic cutting machinery, plotting devices, or other software applications, Optitex will generate a file format acceptable to that system.Supported file formats include: DXF, AAMA, ASTM, NC, HPGL, HPGL-2, MicroJet and more.
