MRV offers a complete line of Optical Transport and WDM Solutions for service providers, content delivery networks, datacenter operators, internet exchanges, cloud service providers, and others. Applications range from Enterprise networks to data and storage interconnect, from regional backbones to campus rings. MRV’s optical platforms offer industry-leading flexibility in shelf variety, hardware configuration, and service options. With shelves ranging from single-slot demarcation devices to multi-slot high-density aggregators, MRV has an option to fit any available location. Shelves like the OptiDriver OD-48 can be flexibly re-configured in-service to support an arbitrary mix of larger and smaller interfaces depending on network requirements. Interface cards like the DMR10G support multiple optical rates and service formats as well as a variety service protection options with the same hardware, greatly reducing capital costs, inventory, and operational complexity.

SIMPLE The MRV optical product line is designed to be simple to configure and operate. For basic point-to-point applications or complex optical mesh networks alike, MRV offers innovations like enhanced turn-up, integrated circuit pre-test, real time service monitoring and intelligent ROADM configuration that can significantly reduce operational expenses.

EFFICIENT The MRV optical product line is the most compact in size and efficient in power usage in the industry. Savings of more than 50% in rack space and up to 60% in power consumption, the MRV product line is designed to significantly reduce the costs associated with real estate and power consumption.

RESILIENT

Optical Enterprise Networks

Conversion of one interface type to another is a basic solution that is increasingly important as we move to 100G interfaces. Changing a short reach multimode switch/router interface to a longer reach singlemode interface saves money and enables distance extension and/or wavelength transponding with WDM for critical network infrastructure.
