All appointments for peer tutoring must be scheduled in advance through an online scheduling system. Shifts are 1-3 hours in the morning or afternoon, longer on the weekends. Sophomore or Junior Biology/Biochemistry major preferred. Students must be available on weekends and during winter break. Positions include up to 15 hours per week, starting rate $9/hour. In other words, we are a jack of all trades! We work side by side with SB-VAC, UPD, and the Fire Marshals. We are trained in crowd control, disaster preparedness, and basic medical skills (CPR, AED, First Aid) to name a few. We are currently in the middle of a busy recruitment season for eager students who want to make an impact on the community. We are holding two information sessions: Friday September 9 th from 8-9 PM in SAC 303, and September 20 th from 8-9 PM, in the SAC auditorium. In order to be a part of C-CERT, members must sign up for an interview date at either of the information sessions!
