21st Century Community Learning Center Position: Recreation Assistant Description: This is a part-time position with the possibility of summer employment as well as continued employment based on funding availability. Hours: Monday - Friday 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Compensation: $9.55/hr Responsibilities & Duties:
Be part of a team of professionals implementing objectives of 21 Century Community Learning Center grant.
Work with and supervise youth in an enrichment based middle and high school after school program.
Provide homework help, assist in the delivery of academic enrich-ment and positive youth development programming.
Organize, lead and/or supervise recreational activities including but not limited to sports, games, arts, crafts, singing, dancing and dramatics.
Chaperone field trips and keep attendance records.
