Please note: The following safety instructions must be followed as shown in this operating manual. Any deviation may lead to unnecessary personal injury or losses. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS The floor polishers are constructed according to existing safety rules and regulations. These technical precautions must not be removed or changed under any circumstances. While operating the polisher the following points should also be kept in mind: 1. The floor polisher may only be operated by trained professionals. The operators have read and be familiar the contents of this manual. 2. Check the power cord and make sure it is not damaged, aging or of leakage before use, if any, the cause of the fault has to be established immediately and has to be repaired before starting the work again so as not to cause unnecessary losses. 3. Always use the correct voltage for the machine and a good grounding connection for the machine, A deviation or disorderly joint might cause damage or losses. 4. High-speed operation of the machine is prohibited while the base plate has been raised up, otherwise, it might cause damage or losses. 5. Secure the work area around the machine to ensure all non operation personnel are a safe distance away from the work area. 6. Check all screws and other fasteners for tight seat before start-up every time.

7. The machine should always be stored in a warm, dry place when not in use. NOTE: NEVER OPERATE THE COMPACT FLOOR POLISHER IN WET CONDITIONS AS ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ARE NOT WATERPROOF 8. Always ensure that all power leads are disconnected when changing tools, during transportation, cleaning, repair or maintenance. The service of electrical components should be carried out by authorized personnel. 9. Never leave the floor polisher unattended during operation. Always stop the motor prior to leaving the machine. 10. Keep the electric lead away from the grinding head. 11. Never operate the machine without a dust skirt or with the dust skirt raised. 12. The machine has to be checked visually at least once a day for any damage and defects. 13. In the event of operational malfunctions the machine must be shut down immediately and secured. The fault must be rectified before starting the machine again! 14. Start up and switch off operations and control devices have to be handled in accordance with the Operating Instructions. 15. For the machine to be shut off completely for repair or maintenance work the plug has to be disconnected in order to prevent the machine from being switched on accidentally. 16. The safety off position is the position of the machine when it cannot generate any hazard. Putting the machine in the safety-off position means: • Switch off the polisher. • Switch off the dust collector. • Wait for standstill of all drives. • Pull out main plugs. • Secure the machine against unintended start up. STARTING UP AND OPERATING Before start-up the operating personnel must be familiar with the safety regulations given in this manual. Check the following prior to starting the equipment. Check all nuts and bolts for tightness Check the plugs and cables for damage 1. Before starting work, check that the set up of the machine and the grinding head has been completed as described below to ensure even wear to the head. 2. Installation of grinding tools: adjust the handle to the vertical position, pull back hard to tilt the machine till the base plate has been raised up, make grinding tools installed, and then put down the base plate back on the ground with care. ATTENTION: THE MACHINE MUST BE SECURED & SUPPORTED IN CASE THE MACHINE FORWARD WOUNDING. 3. Push the dust skirt down to the floor surface and tighten the retaining clip. 4. Ensure that the power supply is correct for the machine. Use the appropriate stable voltage, standard power, and a grounded electrical box. Do not use non-standard wires, and plugs should be plugged in tightly. Connect the machine to the power supply. 5. Before start up ensure all existing protective guards are fitted and the filter unit is connected correctly. Check the emergency stop button and assure it is not pop-up. Adjust the handle to the appropriate location. 6. Check the surface to be treated; it should be free of for loose parts (stones, screws, etc.). The surface needs sweeping if necessary. Ensure that the machine can run over all inequalities on the surface. Small inequalities like floor joints aren’t a barrier for the machine. 7. To start the machine Rotate the “Power/Off” red button (emergency stop) slightly and make it pop-up, lift the grinding head slightly by tipping the machine onto its rear wheels. Press the “On” blue button (start), transfer to a suitable speed using speed adjustment switch. Lower the machine onto the floor, moving the head evenly across the surface to ensure a smooth ground finish. 8. To stop the machine, press the “Power/Off” red button (emergency stop). 9. Attention! In the event of a downtime or mechanical failure, press the emergency stop to

turn off the motor, and pull out the plug from the power. 10. Attention! Don’t change any initial pre-set on the frequency screen unless there are problems occurs during working. 11. Attention! The machine must be set into its “Safety Off Position” before starting any kind of maintenance or repair work. CHANGING & REPLACING OF THE TOOLS Tilt the machine onto the back wheels and rest it on the handlebar. 1. Disconnect from the power supply. 2. Tilt the machine onto the back wheels and rest it on the swivel foot bar. The machine must be secured and supported in case the machine forward wounding. CHECK FOR CORRECT WEAR RATE AFTER QUARTER OF AN HOUR AND AGAIN AT HALF AN HOUR INTERVALS - THIS WILL GIVE AN IDEA OF WEAR RATE MAINTENANCE Special attendance and regular maintenance of the machine and its parts are imperative for functioning and safety. Please instruct your operators and the repair personnel about the following points: Prior to any maintenance or adjustment disconnect the machine from the power supply. AFTER USE: Clean the machine to remove all build up of dust and surface residue. If using a hose pipe or pressure washer take care that water is not directed onto electrical components and switches. (Note: Motors and switches are not waterproof) All components should be checked daily for tightness. Check the plugs and cables for damage. Check all electrical connections are secure and snug. Attention: Keep the machine clean and in a ventilated and cool place while not being used.

Prior to any repair work on the machine and its drives, secure the machine against unintentional switch-on. Pull out the main plug in order to do this. In order to prevent unnecessary downtimes it is recommended to keep original spare and wear parts on stock. Store the plug near the machine to avoid accidents. TROUBLESHOOTING/DIAGNOSTICS Prior to any repair work on the machine or drives, the machine must be secured against unintentional start-up. Put the machine in its Safety-off position. 1. Motor does not turn Check the power cord is connected, whether the voltage of the power supply and the machine. Check the power to see whether it lacks phase or breakage of wiring circuits. Check whether the control line is normal. 2. Faults of variable speed drive (applies only to machines with variable speed): Please view the error code on the display of the variable speed drive and refer to the users’ manual for frequency changer. 3. If none of the above errors are found, please contact with our company's after-sales service.
