Conclusions

• Social media, open data and mobile are just tools• They are just the motive• The real change seems to be the change of systems: the

government as part of the community• Working remotely and cloud computing are just constraints

Do’s and dont’s in open data

• Free data, don’t think about ‘what they can do with it or not’

• Think about releasing data, not if anyone can make a profit with it

• Legal frames give a lot of freedom (at least in The Netherlands)

• Administrations are never 100% correct: use the crowd to complete them!

• No technical problems, just ownership problems
