• In the first shot on the left you are greeted by two people wearing ties and holding a briefcase, this symbolises business men, this gives the audience an insight into what this film is all about.

• When watching the opening credits for The Wolf of Wall Street I notice it has a resemblance to a film called “Catch me if you can” which is about a man that scams people’s checks, so maybe as they used the same kind of opening the same thing happens in it something illegal.

• Also with the non-diagetic sound of cash cuchining also gives the audience a clue that the film is to do with money.

• The use of the martini glass being filled as the opening goes on give the impression that the characters life is half full and the through the film with the help on money it makes their life complete, it also symbolises richness as you associate martini as a posh and rich person drink, for example shaken not stured from James Bond.

• In these two shots it show that they have started from the bottom and they are here at the top. The green shed represents that the characters in this film have started a business in a small shed with a couple of people, and now they made it big time of Wall Street this is show by the sports looking car that crosses the screen.

• With the title being big and in capital letter it stand out to the audience this is also achieved by the black writing on a yellow background, this emphasises the title. By making this a focused for the audiences, will capture the audiences through that The Wolf of Wall Street is a place for money and that gives the audience that idea that this film will be about money, this is enforced by the replacement of stars with dollar signs in the flag.
