Once you click on

‘Elements’ this box will

appear in the centre of the screen. Click

on ‘Video Editor’ and select ‘New

Project’

Adobe will continue to open

a new project. Once here you want to save to

the M-Drive

Page 4: Opening a project

Click on the file menu

And choose ‘Save as’

Page 5: Opening a project

At this point the box will show in the

centre of the screen like this.

Call it what you want: Andy’s

project, The Hunt For Red October,

Ouisdfgho. (I don’t care what you call it as long as you know what it is – leaving it

as ‘My new video project 1’ will get confusing if the

other people using this computer do the

same.)

NOTE: Where you save it is

important!

Don’t just hit ‘Enter’! This will save it probably in your H-Drive. There is not

enough room there and it will, most likely, crash. Save it in the M-Drive of the

computer. Then you can press ‘Save’

Once you are at a page that looks like this and it is saved, you’re good to edit.
