During school I had interest and use to play with small motors, betteries, LED, mini bulbs etc. But I did not know I will have a future related to it. Attracted to photoshop and coral, started designing earlier in school time and could perform programming logically to become a freelancer. Having this passion to art and do interactive solutions made me choose MA Design by Practice.

How to collaborate both into digital art piece



- My first experience with Adobe After Effects - Design philosophy became interesting for me but not easy - Earlier I used LED, Motors, Small Bulbs but Arduino is an extra-ordinary product even used

- SHED – one of best academic experieces of my life and a lession for future.



Throughout sessions, I was amazed with the art works and research by artists. Interactive art installation became my interest. Keeping the concept from year one, I wanted to extend the project. Virtual Touch got different meanings with art work. A layout with physical restriction with ths system by user on the conceptual part but technically using cross-platform approach for the Open Source Technologies.

-> Eclipse development kit for Open Source to use Java, OpenCV. -> No physical action required to input -> IR Sensors/Distance Sensors for appropriate location of the user -> Communication between Arduino and Java through internal medium.

Red Transmitter Brick



Working of Red Transmitter Brick -

Randomnly coming from top of the whole frame from any position on

Horizontal level. As the background needs to be one color, the brick keeps

tracks of the same color. When it comes to another block of color, it sends the

notification through Serial Port to Arduino board.

Arduino board acts upon the message transmitted from JavaFramework and

blows up an LED according to the event.

The Red Brick



-> More time needed to read the library to use with other Open Source Techniques -> Tracking a minimum of 800x600px screen take more time, memory of systems -> Background of the primary screen needs to be lighter, or same all the time, Where light plays important role



To produce a conceptual meaning of an object, an art and to manipulate the prospects of Artistic and technical factors, to develop interactive system made me feel an entrance to new era of design. The academic practice gave me another industry to step in and develop some extra oradinary artistic projects that I couldnt learn somewhere else I belive. It will definitely help me in future.
