Dear Parents and Friends,
Warm wishes from the St. Agnes Academic High School Community! As you decide what path to take for your high school career, we hope our brochure gives you a glimpse into student life at our school. Our dedicated faculty is steeped in our mission of graduating young women who are open to growth, intellectually competent, socially aware, morally discerning, and committed to being women of integrity and truth.
The Dominican Sisters founded St. Agnes Academic High School 110 years ago and their charism of prayer, study, community and service continue to form an integral part of our community. The thousands of graduates that have graced our hallways since 1908 are a testament to the exceptional education and values that have been fostered by our school environment.
We are proud to share with you that St. Agnes Academic High School continues to hold to high academic standards, a rigorous curriculum and the latest in technology while also offering many advanced placement and college level courses. By design, St. Agnes is a small school where each student is treated as an individual and everyone is known by name. It’s all about the girls. Teachers provide a kind and nurturing environment that builds upon a student’s confidence and self-esteem. Leadership roles belong to the girls as they assume positions in Student Government, National Honor Society, Athletics, Performing Arts and so much more.
The wide variety of sports and extra-curricular activities we offer provide our students with opportunities for social, cultural and creative experiences while fostering a sense of camaraderie among students and faculty. Our athletic programs are open to all and because we are a small school, the chances of making the team are quite good! Go Blue Angels!
Choosing a high school for your daughter can be a difficult decision to make; after all you want her to be happy as well as academically prepared for the challenges of higher education. Come visit St. Agnes Academic High School, where every young lady takes center stage!
Please feel free to call the school at any time to set up an appointment. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Susan NicolettiMrs. Susan NicolettiPrincipal
