Homework Homework is designed to reinforce what the
students are learning each day in class. Weekly Homework Packet
Homework will be sent home every Monday. One Math worksheet and one Language Arts
worksheet. Occasionally, a Science or Social Studies paper will
come home. There will be a schedule attached to the Homework
Packet stating when each assignment is due. I do not grade homework, however, I do check
and keep track to see that it is getting done.
What Color Are You On Today?
Flip Cards Rules and Expectations Each student begins the day on GREEN If a behavior is repeated or another rule is broken, the child
is then asked to change their color to YELLOW Finally, if the child continues to break a class or school rule,
they will be asked to change their color to RED Rewards for ending the day on green or yellow.
Bunny Bucks Bunny Bucks will be cashed in at the end of the week for prizes.
Communication to Parents/Guardians A monthly calendar will remain in each student’s take home
folder. Each afternoon, Miss Kempski will stamp the color on which they end the day.
If students end the day on RED, a Bunny Boo Boo will be sent home stating why.
Conferences There is a set date throughout the year
for conferences. First conferences will be held October
14th and 15th Miss Kempski will schedule a 15 min.
conference with each parent/guardian.Notices will go home in your child’s folder.
Reminders Please check your child’s
Communication folder EVERYDAY! It should be sent back to school each day!
If you are sending money in for lunch, please make sure you send it in a zip lock bag marked with your child’s name.
