On February 18, Sergent Tuvia Weissman, was grocery shopping when a Palestinian brutallystabbed him to death. This is only one of therecent attacks by Palestinians on Israeli civilians.
Over the past year, tension has beenincreasing in Israel, as Palestinians constantlyattempt to murder Israeli soldiers and civilians. The IDF has been working round the clock asthese erratic acts of terror continue to take
place. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbaspublicly condemns these attacks before theUnited Nations and claims he wants peace. However, when he addresses his people, he praisesthem, issuing greetings of honour and esteemand encourages others to follow in the footstepsof these "martyrs." As long as he praises theseattacks, they will continue to happen. Peacebetween Israelis and Palestinians will be
unattainable until these attacks are stopped.
