INTERNET AND THE WORLD WIDE WEB (WWW)
The Internet is one of the best technology resources available
to us as it provides awesome access to e-mail, online banking,
education, online shopping, research information, etc. How do you
use the Internet/WWW? The consumer has many products to choose from
such as PCs, laptops, and mobile devices. These are all options for
Internet access. History The Internet has been around for over 30
years and is the largest network around. The government/military
created the network to serve as a way to communicate during a
natural disaster or catastrophic event. It did not become
commercially popular until the 1990’s with the introduction of the
World Wide Web (WWW). The WWW is the collection of websites and
documents (webpage) that may be used for research, communicating,
shopping, banking, schooling, etc. Internet and WWW Online
