The Planning & Development Department offers a number of online permits available at phoenix.gov/pdd/onlineservices. The permits will streamline city services, reduce counter wait times and facilitate private development. Included are permits for minor residential, commercial and fire prevention work that do not require plan review. Code compliance will be verified by a city inspector.

These permits can be easily obtained 24 hours a day, seven days a week without requiring a trip to City Hall. Customers can purchase the permit, do the work and schedule inspections. Some properties are restricted from this service, including properties in designated historic districts and those with unresolved cases of non-permitted construction. For more information, contact the Planning & Development Department at 602-262-7811 (voice) or TTY use 7-1-1.
