System Requirements Internet Explorer version 9, 10 or 11 is recommended.
How to Access Online Booking You must be a certified user to submit online booking requests. Go to www.coscon.com and click Register and complete the Certified User Registration. (Figure 1)
Certified Users:
Go to www.coscon.com.
Enter your User ID, Password and the 4 digit Verification code to the right and click Login. (Figure 2)

Select the Booking tab from the menu at the top of the screen. (Figure 3)
The booking request form is divided into 6 sections:
1. Reference Information 2. Parties 3. Routing 4. Schedule 5. Cargo / Container Information 6. Upload File
Enter booking details according to the guidelines below. Required fields are identified with an asterisk (*). 1. Reference Information
Enter Service Contract Number or Tariff Item Number. Optionally, add other references using the dropdown menu. Select Reference Type from the dropdown menu, type Reference Number and click Add. (Figure 5)
2. Parties
Click Add to enter shipment parties (Figure 6)

Note: Previously entered parties can be located by clicking in the parties fields for future bookings once your booking request is confirmed. .

3. Routing
Enter From City and To City
Select Door Pickup and Door Delivery from dropdown menu – CY or Door
Select your desired Booking Office from the dropdown menu (Figure 7)
4. Schedule There are 3 options for selecting a schedule: 1. Find Sailing Schedule
To use this option, click the radio button next to Find Sailing Schedule, enter Cargo Ready for Shipping date and click Find Sailing Schedule (Figure 8)
Click the radio button next to a vessel to select it and click OK (Figure 9)

2. Desired Vessel Voyage
To use this option, click the radio button next to Desired Vessel Voyage, enter Service, Vessel Name and External Voyage and click OK (Figure 10)
3. Earliest Departure Date from Origin or Latest Arrival Date at Destination
To use this option, click the radio button next to Earliest Departure Date from Origin or Latest Arrival Date at Destination and click OK (Figure 11)
After selecting a schedule using one of the 3 options above, indicate whether you would like a booking on the first available vessel if the requested voyage is closed for new bookings (Figure 12)
5. Cargo / Container Information
Enter Cargo Description
Select Cargo Nature from the dropdown menu (Figure 13)
Select Container Size/Type from the dropdown menu
Enter container Quantity. Tick the SOC checkbox if your container is a shipper owned container. Click Add. (Figure 14)

If your booking request is for multiple containers, indicate whether partial shipments are acceptable (Figure 15)
Enter any other pertinent information for your shipment in the Remarks section (Figure 16)
6. Upload File
Click Browse to select and upload relevant documents to your booking request (Figure 17)
Click Submit (Figure 18)
You will receive a Booking Serial Number as an acknowledgement that your booking request has been submitted. (Figure 19). This is not your booking number. You will receive a booking number once COSCO has confirmed your booking request.
Note: You can no longer edit your booking online once it has been submitted. Contact your local COSCO office as necessary if changes are required.
You will also receive an email notification when you submit a booking request. (Figure 20)

Note: You may also save your booking as a Draft or save it as a Template for future use. Template creation and draft bookings are covered in the Additional Features section of this guide.

You will receive an email with your booking number when COSCO has confirmed your booking request (Figure 21)
In addition, you may also receive the following email notifications for your booking:
Booking Updated: Notification that your booking has been updated by COSCO Booking Canceled: Notification that your booking has been canceled Booking Rejected: Notification that your booking request could not be accepted

Submit a Booking Request for Specialized Cargo Refrigerated, Dangerous and Awkward Cargo
Enter booking information as explained in the Submit Booking Request section of this guide.
In the Cargo section, select your Cargo Nature. You will be required to enter information based on the cargo nature you select.
Refrigerated Cargo: Enter Temperature, Ventilation and Genset information (Figure 22)
Dangerous Cargo: Enter hazardous information (Figure 23)
Awkward Cargo: Enter dimensions (Figure 24)

Reefer/Dangerous: Enter temperature, ventilation and genset requirements. Enter hazardous information. (Figure 25)

Submit a Booking Request for Carrier Haulage
Enter booking information as explained in the Submit Booking Request section of this guide.
In the Routing section, select Carrier (Door) from the Door Pickup or Door Delivery dropdown menu. (Figure 26)
After entering Container information, the Appointment option will become active. Click Appointment. (Figure 27)
Enter Door Pickup address and click OK. (Figure 28)

Additional Features
Search: Provides a list of all your booking requests and their current status
Enter criteria and click Search (Figure 29)
A list of your bookings will be displayed (Figure 30)
Booking Status:
Edit Options:
Submitted: Booking request has been submitted to COSCO
Received: Booking request has been received by COSCO
Click to open and view booking details
Click to copy booking to create a new booking
Confirmed: Booking request has been confirmed Click to update a booking
Canceled: Booking request has been canceled Click to cancel booking request
Draft: Booking has been saved as a draft Click to delete

Template: Create templates to use in creating new bookings
Create a New Template:
Click Template
Select New (Figure 31)
Enter a Template Name (Figure 32)
Enter Reference Information, Parties, Routing, Cargo and Container details as described in the Submit a Booking Request section of this guide.
Click Save (Figure 33)

Use a Template to Create a New Booking:
Click the Template tab
Highlight the template you wish to use and click Copy to Booking
Supplement the template by selecting a voyage, entering you container quantity and other information as needed prior to submitting your request
You may also Open your template to modify it, or Delete your template if it is no longer needed (Figure 34)
Bookings in Draft Status:
To modify or submit a booking in draft status, click the edit icon
You may also copy or delete your draft (Figure 35)
