Earth Day was observed around the world on April 22, 2012, and OneOC celebrated it with volunteer projects that focused on preserving and beautifying Orange County’s environments. 2,477 volunteers took an active role in preserving natural habitats at 23 nonprofits/schools, making Orange County a cleaner and greener place in which to live.

As part of Earth Day, OneOC supported Global Youth Service Day, engaging our youth to improve our communities – this day and every day. Youth friendly volunteer projects were available for all ages.
