Overview
An ad-hoc Taskforce on Food Security was formed to develop detailed work plan on food security in the ASEAN region, comprising “ASEAN Integrated Food Security (AIFS) Framework” and “Strategic Plan of Action for Food Security (SPA-FS)”
“AIFS Framework” and “SPA-FS” was reviewed and endorsed by ASEAN Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF) in October 2008.
Support to AIFS Framework and SPA-FS was given at the Senior Officials Meeting (SOM-8th AMAF +3) meeting in October 2008.
