BATTLING IT OUT When the dance floor started to feel cramped, sophomore Matt Day came up with a solution. “We formed a circle to the side which was a lot of fun because I could hang out with my friends without feeling hemmed in,” Matt said. “The funniest part was watching the dance battles erupt in the middle of the circle.” UP IN ARMS Senior Whitney Wiltshire wanted to try her luck one last time. She had tried crowd surfing at Sadie and was determined to do it again. “I was really excited to crowd surf, but when I got up there I was deathly afraid of someone dropping me,” she said. After months of searching the internet for dresses and finding just the right way to ask a date, it came down to just four short hours. The doors to the Convention Center opened at 7 p.m. and an hour later, the prom dance floor was full until students left for Casino Night.BATTLING IT OUT

When the dance floor started to feel cramped, sophomore Matt Day came up with a solution.

The crowd didn’t drop her but instead lifted another student, junior Conner Patterson, in the air to join her.

“I thought it was a good idea because my friends were standing around and I knew they would catch me,” he said. ICE ICE DADDY?
