Charles and Amanda are a couple since many years ago. Today, they are

having dinner together as everyday while they listen to the radio. But

Now Kate, here's an awkward question for you: do you consider yourself a

good liar? A good liar? Ooh, no, absolutely not. I’ve never been a good liar;

I always go bright red, and I can’t look at the person I’m talking to in the

eye. Well, this week's show is about lies and lying. According to one

researcher, most people tell two important lies each day. And a third of all

conversations involve some form of deception. Deception is something

that is misleading, dishonest or untruthful. So this week's question for you

Kate is: according to a recent survey, which profession is the one in which

people lie the most?

Do you consider yourself a good liar, Charles?

Definitely not. I do not lie. I am like the woman

in the radio.

I never lie to my boss because he would

discover it very soon. And to you? I almost

never lie to you.

How can someone find out if you’re lying, Charles?

When I was a kid, I used to lie sometimes to my parents and teachers but I always turned bright red, so it was easy to see that I was lying so... I have never lied too much.

He said that when he was a child, he had used to lie

sometimes and always turned red... I believe that... He does that even today... But he also said he never had never lied

too much!
