Once upon a time…….

There was a poor boy named, Jabari ……..

They were very poor, so Mui asked Jabari to go sell their Camel.

Then, a man named Remmao asked Jabari if he could buy the camel for some magic sycamore seeds.

So, Jabari took the magic sycamore seeds to show his mother. He knew she would be very happy.

When Jabari got home, his mom was furious that he did not get any scarab beetle charms for their camel. She threw the magic seeds out the window and sent Jabari to bed.

Why didn’t you get scarab beetles?!?!

Overnight, the seeds grew into a GIANT Sycamore Tree. It grew up into the clouds, so Jabari went up to see where it went.

Jabari kept climbing and climbing until he got to the top. At the top, he met a fairy named, Anubus. He told him there was a giant named, Ra, who had killed his father and took his land.

Jabari went to the giant’s pyramid house and his wife, Nut, let him in. Jabari hid, as Ra made his duck lay golden eggs. Ra fell asleep, and Jabari took his duck down to his mother.

Then, lots of days passed, and Jabari made another trip up the giant sycamore tree and to the giant’s house. Once again, Nut let him in. The giant fell asleep while counting his scarab beetles. Again, Jabari stood up, and took the scarab beetles.

Another day came, and Jabari went to the giant’s house again. Jack hid, and the giant fell asleep while his harp played for him.

Jabari took the harp, but the harp called out for the giant. The giant chased Jabari to the sycamore tree. At the bottom, Mui brought a chopper. Jabari chopped down the sycamore tree and Ra fell, dead.

They lived hapily ever after!!!
