But ONBoardD isn’t about the
Public Company Arena…
• The public company board-diversity arena is not a supply issue -
it is a demand issue.
• Public Companies are not going to expand the size of their boards
to address diversity, nor will they embrace board-roster rapid
change. The capital markets punish that behavior.
• The market that will embrace expansion and churn the most is the
privately-held company market.
• Adding domain expertise to their boards, represented by diverse
candidates, will appeal to their investors and private shareholders.
• ONBoardD is a collaborative partnership to provide diverse talent
to private companies thirsty for external viewpoints and expertise.
