Meet the Owners
Cayuga Cabins is owned and operated by Steve Engelbrecht, a Syracuse-
area native who grew up enjoying the Finger Lakes, and later attended
Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
Since acquiring the property in 2011, Steve and his team have
completed countless improvements, leaving virtually no part of the
property untouched. When his vision for a rustic vacation home for large
groups took shape, he opened the doors to guests, and has since built
one of the most successful vacation rental businesses in the area,
earning top marks and glowing reviews from the more than 100 groups
who have rented the property.
Steve and his team are proud to share Cayuga Cabins with you. We invite
you and your family to escape the “hotel bubble” which is limited in so
many ways, and instead to enjoy this private waterfront retreat — our
vision of paradise at the intersection of rustic and luxury.
