On 5 May 2016, disabled people and their families and Carers across Wales will cast their votes in the National Assembly for Wales Elections.

Disabled people make up over 20% of the population in Wales, which has a higher proportion of disabled people than other nations and regions of the UK.

Disabled people across Wales tell us that lack of enforcement of rights together with the impact of UK Government welfare reforms and cuts in public services have led to a loss of independence, an increase in poverty and left many feeling isolated and fearful for the future.

Our Manifesto calls to action developed by disabled people around Wales are aimed at tackling these challenges and creating an Enabling Wales where disabled people truly experience their rights and equality as citizens of a modern inclusive nation, contributing fully to its social and economic success.
