Week Four RecapRound Four 0.12 Rubles v Balls To The Wall Sunday 7pmAfter the two dreadful weeks between this match and the last round, OLTP fans were itching for a new

match and they were treated to the top placed side of Balls to the Wall taking on the perennial

underdogs in 0.12 Rubles in their first match since Round Two. The match got off to a great start for the

Rubles, capping twice in the opening couple of minutes. However as the first half dragged on, BTTW

recovered strongly to take a 4-2 lead into half time. The second half was all against the Rubles as their

captain klosec12 had to drop out of the game due to excessive packet loss. The Rubles were unable to

fully recover from this change and BTTW took full advantage of this change to the Rubles structure and

capped a resounding 9 times to walk away with the match and all but guarantee themselves a spot in

    the playoffs.

Round Four The Cap-22s v Wu-Tag Clan Sunday 7:30pmThe Cap-22s entered the match looking to continue their hot streak and solidify their spot in the Top 2

while Wu-Tag Clan was looking to rebound after two straight losses. The game started and it

immediately went the way of the 22swho took firm grasp of the game and lead by a resounding 8-1

scoreline at the break. Wu-Tag made a pair of changes in the second half but this risk did not pay off, as

The 22s were still too strong, although Wu-Tag can take pride in keeping it closer in the second half,

walking away with a 6-2 defeat in the second half. The result sees The Cap-22s press their case at the

top of the ladder, while for Wu-Tag it leaves them dangerously close to dropping out of playoff

    contention.

Round Four The Flag Bearers v I SWEAR WERE NOT BOTS Sunday 9pmThe last match in a lopsided Round Four saw the last place Flag Bearers taking on a Bots team who

finally won their maiden match last round. With their playoff hopes on the line, The Bearers went out

fighting, playing a strong match to surprise everyone and take the lead at the break with a lead of 6-3. In

the second half, Bots came out strong and stopped the Bearers offence from firing like they did in the

opening half. The Bots offence stepped it up a gear and grabbed a game-equaling cap with 3 minutes to

go before securing the win with a late cap. The result leaves Bearers rooted to the floor of the table with

two games left and sees Bots finally move into the Top 4.

    1 The Cap-

    22s (+/- 0)

This Side went from strength to strength with another win and this franchise is

really proving their mettle as a top team.

    2 Balls To TheWall (+1)

Consolidated their spot with a solid win that did raise some question marks, but a win is a win for this franchise.

    3 I SWEAR

    WERE NOT

Had a close match against The Flag Bearers but they stayed strong and stole a

win where realistically there should have been none.

    4 The Flag

    Bearers (+1)

Showing signs of improvement each week, this franchise lost a very close

game in the last round, but will be pleased at how their #1 pick played on

    Debut.

    5 0.12 Rubles

    (+/- 0)

Played a very tight first half in their match, but the loss of their captain proved

fatal for their game. Heres hoping it doesnt happen again.

    6 Wu-Tag

    Clan (+1)

A big loss against a tough side, but this side will still be aiming to recover from

this recent tail spin in form.7 Bad Balls II

Having the bye this week could cause some issues as they enter the home

    The Race For The Playoffs

Through their wins in Round Four, Balls To The Wall and The Cap-22s have ensured that they cannot

finish last and claim the inaugural Wooden Spoon.

10 Points seems to be the magical Playoff Number with only 5 out of 7 teams still able to reach that

total. However at this stage, only 13 points will make a playoff position certain.

The Race for the minor premiership is still very tight, with a minor slipup by both The Cap-22s or Balls

To The Wall can allow Bad Balls II to come back into contention for the title.

Sizzzleds Grill Interviews From Week FourOur first interview this week is from The Cap-22s captain Radian, who caught up with Sizzzled after a

    resounding win over Wu-Tag Clan.

You've had a commanding winning streak so far, but some suggest it's because you've played theweakest teams on the field so far - how do you think you'll compare against the others in the final

    three rounds?

I think we may have had some easier games at first, but by no means did it give us any sort of

advantage. People can think what they want but in my opinion they're just trying to make excuses for

why we're doing so well and why their own teams aren't. I have no doubt that the next games will be

harder, and neither does the rest of the team but this is an attitude we've had every single game so far

and one we will continue to have. Each match will be tough and that's the nature of the competition.

Do you think you'll be giving the rest of the players in your team a chance to run?

I'm both eager and cautious of doing this. Our current line-up has some really good chemistry and I'm

hesitant to mess with that, especially with the more important games drawing closer. To try and keep

that chemistry whilst including more players we're organising more training sessions trying to ready

those that haven't played and we're seeing some really good results. Hopefully over the next few games

we will have a chance to show the depth in our team.

Any players you've been training with who we should look out for this week?

Really all of our un-played players but especially Goodolddays and Insanity. Both of these players have

yet to play and are some of the top ranked offenders on diameter.

Anything else youd like to add?

i love sizzzledsgrill, they cook good chicken, yiss

The Second interview this week was with OLTP Chronicle Founder and 0.12 Rubles Captain, Klosec12,

who met with Sizzzled after a loss to Balls To The Wall.

You're on the verge of expulsion from the semi-finals. What are going to be your primary measures of

    securing the fourth playoff spot?

Having a game in hand makes life a lot easier in terms of planning our run to the playoffs. The loss lastweek was unfortunate but we have found out what we did wrong and are working to fix that before our

next match which is a lot harder than the game last week. Essentially we need to go into our last two

games of the season aiming to win both games, and i feel we can do that. Not to discount Bots, but i feel

we have a side that can cause a surprise or two and upset them. We also have The Flag Bearers up,

which could be a tough match given the way they have slowly improved over the course of the season.

Whats The Point of Going Out? Were Just GonnaWind Up Back Here Anyway 0.12 Rubles Player

Ametam on why he returns to Mumble.

Do you think 0.12 Rubles have managed to keep up with the pace of the rest of the field? If so, do you

    think they can continue to?

Much like any other side, we have issues that need improving and i feel we have worked on them

fantastically over the season. Having half our season still to play also helps develop our skills further.

One thing i am proud to have implemented into the system at The Rubles is our system of playerrotation where every player has had a go and i think this has done great things for development of the

    team as a whole.

Which player in Rubles has surprised you the most throughout the season?

Most of my side has surprised me with how they have performed so well this season and how dedicated

they are to the side which is all the signs of a good franchise. If I had to make special mention of a player

it would be Pied Piper who I'll admit was a risk coming out of the draft as he was untested in

competitive play but he has knocked it out of the park this season in defense and has left me with some

difficult choices as we are quite spoiled for defense with mtbkr24, dokugan and myself all being solid

    defenders.

The final interview this week was from Balls To The Walls star player Virnetics, who caught up with

Sizzzled to discuss the Barry amongst other things.

Who do you think is the player most likely to contend your shot at the Barry Award?

I believe either Rain or Avoke, if he plays enough minutes, have the best shot of winning the Barry

Award. Rain is in my opinion the best offender in OLTP at the moment, but he needs to improve his

defensive GASP to win. Avoke is also a top tier offender and an above average defender (not that his

GASP for defense suggests it) but his lack of game time has caused his gasp to suffer. Avoke has the

highest caps per minute and the best cap/gab ratio for the pure offenders. The likely defensive player of

the year, Flame also might have a chance of winning the Barry award if he can boost his offensive GASP.

What do you have to say to Rain regarding the bounty he's put on you?

I believe Rain should be worrying about winning his OLTP matches instead of worrying about the Barry

award. Team success should always come before individual success.

Would you put your success down to your own personal performance, or your ability to co-operate

with the players on your team?

To be honest it is only luck that is allowing me to lead the Barry award. I consider myself an aboveaverage defender an a average offender. Only reading the flow of the match has allowed me to get my

two caps. Also my partnership with Hoog has allowed me to get a number of returns, we work very well

off each other and his overall position in the GASP rankings is not indicative of his skill and shows that

our team is not worrying about individual awards but of winning the OLTP championship.

The Cap-22s v 0.12 Rubles TBA SundayThe Cap-22s are in amazing form through the offensive prowess of Rain and Borgen while the Rubles

seem to be a completely different side once their captain drops out, as evidenced by their second half

meltdown last round. A win for The Cap-22s could see them move one step closer to the minor

premiership, while sending the Rubles a step closer towards missing out on the playoffs.

defensive choices. Expect big things from his this week.

Its a Big Game for Flame

This Defender has shot up into contention for the Barry and with his skills it is not hard to see why.

Another great performance here could see him sneak into first come the end of the Round.

Predicted Score 10-4 in favor of The Cap-22s

Wu-Tag Clan v The Flag Bearers TBAThis game has all the potential to be a classic OLTP match. Both sides are locked at the foot of the table,

drifting away from playoff contention, yet they have it all to play for still. A loss for either side would

send them hurtling towards the Wooden Spoon and put them in a rut they may not be able to get out

of. Wu-Tag enter the match having just lost resoundingly to The Cap-22s while The Flag Bearers cameaway with a close loss to Bots after leading in the first half.

Player Watch BugThe lone shining star for The Bearers so far this season, Bug has been making massive waves with his

defensive flair. A strong performance here could push him up towards Barry Potential.

    Its a Big Game for

    Bobbay

After an amazing first game, Bobbay has slowly drifted into quiet territory as he has only capped once in

the last 3 matches. Bobbay needs to prove he still has all the moves to make it 2 e z.

    Predicted Score 8-8 Draw
