Each fall over three hundred students participate in the Brazos Valley Writing Contest spon-sored by Sylvan. Free Sylvan Math Prep is made available to all area schools for grades 6-12 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Sylvan provides school supplies for area schools as well as SAT diagnostic days throughout the year. This free assessment allows students to identify skills for improvement.

Amy K. Jones Commercial Management DivisionDirector of Commercial Management

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Mas-ter’s Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate. Her responsibilities include the operation, marketing, leasing, and financial performance of all commercial management properties, as well as budget preparation and implementation, asset management, risk reduction strategies, and oversight of all property and liability insurance policies. She over-sees all marketing and leasing activities and efforts. She has formerly been a consultant for Verizon, and the Cities of Bryan and College Station, with 15 years of experience in two REIT’s, Regency Centers, and Weingarten Realty.

Chris Rhodes Development DivisionConstruction Manager

Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. Chris’ responsibilities include the coordination and oversight of renovation, development, and new construction projects across all divisions. Within budget and to the highest quality standards, he ensures timely project completion by directly working with the design team. Chris’ previous experience includes fulfilling the role of project manager for general commercial contracting, ranging from interior renovation and finish-outs to tilt-up distribution center, and from parking garages to office towers. Chris has extensive experience supervising and coordinating projects, working directly with superintendents and sub-contractors.

Diana Adams Accounting DivisionPayroll Administrator/Office Manager

Diana Adams received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and a Master’s Degree of Science in Human Resource Management from Texas A&M University. Currently, she is responsible for overseeing payroll and benefits for seven Texas Hotels and six Texas Apartments. Diana handles HR-related issues for over 300 employ-ees. As Office Manager, she oversees the day-to-day office operations. Diana previously worked for Campus Advantage, Inc., as an HR Coordinator, Bookkeeper, and Management Systems Trainer, and is currently serving as the Collegiate-Alumnae Relations Chair for the Brazos Valley Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

Natalie Ruiz IPS GroupAICP – Principal

Natalie is a graduate of Texas A&M University with over 20 years of experience in project management, code development and administration. She has served as a development coordinator, overseeing major residential and commercial projects in the public sector. She has authorized many zoning codes and regulations including the City of College Station’s Unified Development Code. Natalie has extensive experience in group facilitation and public in-volvement, for she has worked with developers and surrounding neighborhoods to reach understanding and compro-mise. She has experience in real estate marketing and sales and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). She excels at helping private sector clients manage a development project and keep it on track through site plan, building permit and inspection phases.
