What is an Intermediate License?

• Oklahoma has a Graduated Driver License (GDL) for young people under the age 17.

• Oklahoma’s teen drivers have more crashes than any other age group. 25% of 16 year-olds either receive a ticket or are involved in a crash.

• All 50 states have some version of GDL.

Insurance Agent Advice

How To Lower Insurance Premiums

• Complete an insurance sponsored Driver Safety program. Example: State Farm’s Steer Clear.

• Extra discounts for 3.0 and above G.P.A.

• Practice safe driving. The longer you go without a ticket or accident the lower your rates will be.

• Don’t get a brand new car

• Don’t buy a sports car with a large engine.
