Product range
Air Duct Systems
The Air Duct Systems product area consists of a range
of circular ducts and fittings, complemented by e.g. rec-
tangular duct products and hoods. The products are
used for the construction of ventilation systems and are
the business area’s core business.
Comfort
The Comfort product area includes three product pro-
grams - Air systems, Water systems and Acoustics - all
contributing to create a pleasant, healthy and produc-
tive indoor climate.
Air systems – products for supplying and extracting air
to and from a ventilated area – such as diffusers, grilles
and VAV systems – in order to achieve the required de-
mands for the indoor climate.
Water systems – products that use water for achieving
the required indoor climate, such as chilled beams,
chilled panels, induction units, heating panels and regu-
lation equipment.
Acoustics – a complete range of silencers which provide
the basis for a quiet and pleasant ventilation system.
IT solutions
Lindab offers a large range of intelligent and rational
tools and services that make your day-to-day work
easier. We want to give you the opportunity to develop
optimal, reliable and economical ventilation solutions in
the shortest possible time.
One part of our offer is a software package for the
design, calculation, quantification and planning of com-
plete ventilation and indoor climate systems.

Some of our markets offer a network of branches, or
One Stop Shops, where we keep a wide assortment of

Fix with screws or blind rivets
It‘s possible to do a trial assembly without “clicking”. Mount to check – but don’t push the parts together all the way so that they snap together, test, and then take apart and adjust if necessary.

Cutting duct with the SR Cutter

Dismantling
Drill a 5 mm hole 4 mm behind two of the notches with the drill angled backwards. At the same time angle the drill back so that the fitting and the duct are somewhat separated without damaging the fitting. Cut the duct clean with the SR Cutter.

The joint must be locked
Mount the next piece of duct at an angle, but make sure that the rubber sealant is not visible. Put screws or blind rivets where the notches have not clicked in position.
In situations where the mounting must be locked, e.g. when a bend is mounted to a duct and it twists towards the floor. Mount the first hanger and mount the bend, then lock the joint with a screw or blind rivet.
Mount the hangers in a straight line and as close to every joint as possible. Fix with an extra screw when needed for extra stability.

Tools that make your job easier, faster and less demanding

SR Cutter
The SR Cutter is a tool which gives you better working
conditions and makes it faster, easier and physically less
demanding to cut ducts. You get a perfect cut - every
time. The cutting device on the SR Cutter cuts ducts up
to 0,9 mm thickness and up to 3 metres in length to
within Ø 80 - 315 mm.
Carrying handle
The SRH is a carrying handle which makes it substan-
tially easier to manually move circular ventilation ducts
at the building site. The handle fit ducts Ø 315–1250, but
it is adequate to limit its use to the sizes Ø 400–800.
SR Roller
The SRR is a cradle for cutting of ducts with Ø 315–1250
mm. The duct is placed on two or three cradles for sim-
ple, fast and ergonomically correct rotating at marking
of cut length and at cutting.
Heavy duty knife
The KNIFE is a sturdy and durably sharpened knife for
tough tasks e.g. hole-making in ventilation ducts. The
blade is manufactured of 3 mm carbon steel and sharp-
ened with double edge angles.
The handle and sheath are manufactured of extra
impact resistant PP plastic.

Leakage Tester
LTEST is a complete equipment set for field measuring
of leakage in duct systems. All delivered in two alumi-
num trunks. Simple to handle, carry and store. The fully
automated operation makes the whole measurement
process considerably faster and easier. The unit auto-
matically runs the measurement cycle according to the
standards EN 12237 and EN 1507.
Duct cover
The Duct cover protects your ducts in bad weather con-
ditions, and keeps the ducts clean during transport and
storage.
Trolley
TRO is a trolley which makes it substantially easier and
more ergonomic to manually move circular ventilation
ducts and other heavy products at the building site. The
trolley is suitable for ducts Ø 400–1250 mm. Trolley with
loaded duct is easily moved by one person.
Markingmeasure
TALMET is a marking measure which makes measuring
and marking of ducts faster and more efficient. A com-
bination tool for measuring and marking of lengths up to
3 m. Measures both external and internal lengths.
Equipped with three steel scribing edges for marking.
Locks the setting automatically and has a two-step re-
lease mechanism. p-scale for direct reading of the diam-
eter when measuring the circumference.
Spanner
SPANN is a ring spanner produced with ratcheting
mechanism for sheet metal screws ¼” hexagon head,
which makes it suitable in cramped spaces where there
is no room for a common electric screwdriver. The stem
is angled 15° for easier handling.

When jazzing or offsetting the run of a duct it may be difficult to estimate the length
of the duct to cut. The following tables help you to find the right length for duct
diameters 80–1250 mm and bend angles 90–15°.
Look up the wanted centerline offset and find the cut length.

At Lindab, good thinking is a philosophy that
