In accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Price Control Ordinance, the controlled
, selling prices of iron ores are designated as follows, and Price Agency Notification No. 1008 of
December 16, 1949 (concerning the designation of the controlled prices of iron ores) shall hereby be
abolished:

The controlled prices shall be for those having a finessof the following:
Iron component: 50%
But iron manganese ore shall have a total component of 40% of iron &
manganese (component of manganese 3%)
Sulphur component: 0.2%
Phosphorous component: 0.2%
II. Sales terms
a) The controlled prices of these having a finess other than that mentioned above shall beamounts, the controlledprices of thislistare added or deducted as follows:
Iron: For each increase or decrease of 1% \60 added or deduct
Manganese: ditto \120 ditto
Sulphur: For each increase or decrease of 0.1% \2 deduct or added
Phosphorus: ditto \1.20 ditto
However, the amounts shall be made 77% of the above amount as to send iron.
In this case, 0.5 and higher fractionsless than yen unit shall be counted as one yen, dis-
regarding the rest,as to iron and manganese, and 0.5 and higher fractions less than 10 sen
shall be counted as 10 sen,disregarding the rest, as to phosphorous and sulphur.
As for as phosphorus for use of converter is concerned, no adjustments shallbe made no ac-
count of its fineness.
b) The controlled prices shall be f.o.r.nearest railway station (including the nearest stop of thestate-operated motor cars) of mine, or f.o.b.nearest port, or f.o.b.nearest river side of mine.

Price Agency Notification No. 397 of June 15, 1949 (concerning the designation of the controlled
sealing prices of "Gammitsu-to", molasses, etc.) shall partially amended as follows:

charge for dyeing, etc. of cotton fabrics woven by cotton yarn made from raw cotton which was
allotted on and after the 3rd quarter of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows:'

Table of the controlled prices of the hand process charges shall be delated, and the following
shall be added:
Controlled charge of Hand-bleaching, Pump-dyeing and Finishing of Pump-dyeing
1. The controlled charges for processing, in case wide fabric (those of 20 in. wide) are cut in
half, shall apply to the controlled processing charges for narrow wide fabrics. The controlled
processing charges of narrow fabrics in which kinds of processing are not described shall be
equivalent to the amounts of 50% of wide fabrics.
2. As to processing standard of pump-dyeing fabrics, narrow wide fabrics shall be 5% shrinkage
for both width and length. The finished width of broad wide fabrics shall be 2 inches shrinkage
against cloth width, and the finished length shall be 5% shrinkage of cloth length.3. The controlled processing charges shown in the preceding list shall include charges for inspec-
tion and Japanese-style wrapping and shall exclude transportation rates and insurance premium.
