The Financial bids of the bidders shall be opened online after scrutinizing the technical bid in the office of the Executive Engineer PHE Mech. Division North Jammu in presence of the bidders who wish to attend. If the office happens to be closed on the date of opening of the bids as specified, the bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue. 6. Bids must be uploaded along with scanned copy of cost of tender document in the shape of e-challan / copy of receipt from treasury favouring Executive Engineer PHE Mech. Division North Jammu indicat- ing name of work by crediting the requisite charges to MH:0215 (Revenue), scanned copy of the earnest money / bid security in the shape of CDR / FDR pledge to Executive Engineer PHE Mech. Division North Jammu will also be required to be uploaded alongwith. The original instruments in respect of cost of document, EMD and other relevant document of L1 bidder will be required to be sub- mitted to the Executive Engineer PHE Mech. Division North Jammu within 10 days after opening of financial bids on line. No separate intimation about opening of financial bids will be sent by this office / by the tender opening authority. In case the original documents are not submitted by the L1 bidder with- in 10 days after opening of financial bid, the tender will be cancelled and the bidder will not be allowed to participate in any further / future tendering process in the division for a period of one year. 7. The date and time of opening of financial bids will be notified on website http://jktenders.gov .in and conveyed to the bidders automatically through an e-mail message on their e-mail address. 8. The original documents when submitted by L1 bidder for the cost of tender documents, EMD, specified in the tender document should be same as uploaded on line (Scanned copies) otherwise allotment will not be issued, the tenders will be cancelled and the bidder will not be allowed to participate in any fur- ther/ future tendering process in the division for a period of one year. 9. Bid security of successful tenderer will have to be in form of CDR/FDR of any scheduled bank and shall have to be valid for one year or more after last date of receipt of Bid. 10. Only such firms should submit tender, who have requisite infrastructure and workshop facility for carry- ing out similar type of job which may be inspected by the competent authority before awarding the job contract so as to access the working capacity of the tenderer. The workmanship and material used should be of high quality and as per the specifications of the job order / tender. 11. The bid for the execution of work shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 180 days from the date of opening of bids. If any bidder/tenderer withdraws his bid/tender before the said period or makes any modifications in the terms and conditions of the bid, the earnest money of the firm shall stand forfeited. 12 The tenderers are advised to visit the site of work / inspect the parts to be fabricated before uploading their tenders so as to acquaint themselves with exact measurement and site conditions. 13.
