Corporate strategy and change, technology entrepreneurship, and firm and environmental
performance.
ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship and Founder and Director
of the Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program (BEP) and the Doctorate in Business
Administration (DBA), Creighton University’s Heider College of Business Administration.
Currently serve as faculty director and teach the second summer research course for Creighton’s
DBA program. Taught graduate courses in strategy, technology transfer, and bioscience startup.
Served as PI on a three year $536,000 NSF grant to establish an interdisciplinary bioscience
entrepreneurship program; created and served as founding director of a professional science
masters (PSM) degree in bioscience management. 2006 (full time) – present (half-time).
Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship and Founder and Director
of the Maverick Entrepreneurship Institute, University of Nebraska Omaha, Omaha, NE. Taught
undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship and business innovation consulting.
