WHAT DOES THIS FACILITY HAVE TO OFFER?

• Volunteer Opportunities• All majors have community service opportunities

• Over 100 Partners in the Community

• Food / Clothing Pantry

• UNCP Serve

• Alternative Break Trips• They have been to Charleston, New Orleans, New York, Miami, and Washington DC• They are considering going to Orlando over spring break• There is a small fee to go on the trip• They want to be able to do international trips soon and they also want to start do

FOOD PANTRY/CLOSET

• Students are able to donate or receive food from the food pantry• They conducted a survey and found that

over 80% of the students that were surveyed have had or currently have food security issues

• Students who have an interview, but lack the proper clothes can get them from this closet

COLOR RUN

• Saturday 10/25/2014

• Registration at 8:00

• Registration price is $15 or $10 with

donation of five non-perishable

food items

• Race will start in Wellons parking lot

at 8:30

• Top three male and female winners

will receive medals

• There will be another this spring

HUNGER CHALLENGE

• It will take place through the month of November

• All freshman seminar classes will be participating

• The winning class will receive a pizza party or a breakfast party
