Norll.-The Registrar was appointed Secretary to the Law Officers in July, 1871, the name of which office was subsequently changed to thn.t of Professional and Parliamentary Assistant to the Law Officers. He resigned this office on his appointment to be Certifying Barrister of ~·riendly Societies, z. April, 1874- He receives £30 in addition to his salAry for rent of office.
