With its home grown players from mostly Lae area, it has looked to produce potential representative players to play for the Papua New Guinea national team, the KU- MULS and Hunters. With the inclusion of their own Tigerines and Mascot, it is the first team ever in the history of Papua New Guinea Rugby League to have it. This has thus brought a new level of enter- tainment to the game itself. And also, attracting more people to come watch the game and enjoy the entertainment. It is promised that 2015 will be the year of the Snax Tigers. The coaching Staff have brought in the team earlier this year to train in advance before the Digicel Cup kicks off. They are very confident that the breed of young talented players can take the team all the way to the finals and even possible, winning the GRAND FINAL. It was an aggressive match

between the Tigers and the

Lions. The game was played in

Kundiawa, Dickson Oval, the

home of the Lions.

The Tigers threw everything

against the Lions, however the

Lions came out victorious in he

end with a three try to Nil

against the Tigers. The full

time score was 18 to 0.

Tigers coach Stanely Tepend

was pleased with the boys

performance and promised

that they will polish up on the

mistakes that occur during

the Lions match and look

forward in the next match.

They now will go up against

the TNA Simbu Lions in Sim-

bu next week. All the best

for next weeks’ game.
