Pontiac, fully equipped and carrying new car guarantee.................. . . . . ........$ 2,495.00 plus Plymouth as trade— in, and 4%
tax Morton Pontiac ~ new 1962 Pontiac Police
Special as per specifications, ............. 2,477.55 plus Plymouth as trade—in,and

%tax The Public Safety Committee recommended awarding the bid to
Morton Pontiac. Motion was duly made and seconded that Morton Pontiac
be awarded the contract to furnish a 1962 Pontiac Police Special
accord- ing to itemized specifications,for the price of $2,477.55 plus
the Plymouth as a trade~ in and plus 4% tax. After discussion, the
Chair directed the Clerk to call the roll. The vote was as
follows:

Zimmerman aye The Chair announced the motion was carried with a vote

ayes, no nays, l absent, and directed Chief Smith to take the
necessary steps to procure
the car- Chief Smith then suggested that it might be advisable
for the Village to adopt an Injury to Village Property Ordinance.
After discussion,the matter was referred to the Law
Committee. Thereupon, the regular order of business was resumed,
and the Chair called for Committee
reports. Mr. Shaw, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Committee,
oresented Mr. John McLaughlin of the Plan Commission. Mr. McLQughlin presented \4

•2 the plat for the Stivers Resubdivision of Lot 8 in Barrington
Lakes Subdivision, with the Plan Commission's recommendation that
it
be approved. On motion duly made and seconded that the proposed
Stivers Resubdivision of Lot 8 in Barrington Lakes Subdivision be
approved,
and after discussion, the Chair directed the Clerk to eall
the roll. The vote was as follows:

aye The President announced the motion carried with a vote of 5
ayes,no nays, 1 absent and directed the Clerk to see that the plat
was properly executed and returned to Wight & Company for filing. Mr. Shaw then read a letter from Wight & Company submitting
the proposed plat for Lake Flint Estates,First Addmtion. After
dis~ cuseion, the Trustees present voted unanimously to refer the
said proposed plat to the Plan Commission for study and recommendation.
