This Working Group, co-chaired by the Associate Deans, will imagine futures and coordinate considerations related to graduate education in the College of Design. Considerations include (but are not limited to) interoperability of curricula, enrollment management, student recruitment and retention, financial assistance, services to students, students’ extracurricular experiences, learning abroad, students’ participation in research, faculty mentoring of students, nurturing of inclusive and respectful cultures college-wide and within each program, collaboration with university and community partners, encouragement for entrepreneurial outcomes of student work, and alumni relations. Membership and participation in the DAL Graduate Learning Community include faculty and staff from each academic department who have primary responsibility for managing graduate education. Visitors will include members of Advancement, Student Services, and the Deans’ Office.
