Levels of Access

• Equipment Steward- Equipment Owners, Purchasers, Etc.

• Electrical Equipment Inspector- Staff Authorized to inspect equipment by the Laboratory

Electrical Safety Committee• Electrical Equipment Inspection Manager

- High level access for database management

Inspector and manager views will be slightly different

EEIMS – STEWARD PROFILE

Add buildings that you have equipment in

Click on the pull down menu

EEIMS - ADD NEW EQUIPMENT

Select:

Building, then Room, Equipment Origin

and then click “Add New Equipment”

Fill in the specifics related to the equipment

and click “OK”

When you go back to “my list” the equipment will be in the list

If you need to search for a piece of equipment, the best way is by bar code number

To request a new inspection – Double click on the item in the list
