SHEPHERD’S FIELD
OLIVE WOOD HANDCRAFTS
A group from the Holy Land will be selling religious articles after masses the weekend of October 16 & 17 to support the Catholic Christian minorities in Bethlehem and Jerusalem. The percentage of Catholic Christians in the Holy Land has dropped to less than 1%. If this trend continues, it is possible that in a few years there will be no Catholics in Bethlehem or Jerusalem. The struggle to preserve the Catholic identity in the birthplace of our savior, Jesus Christ, is a serious concern for Catholics around the world. Sales will be used to help and support the Catholics in the Holy Land and to encourage them not to immigrate. These beautifully crafted articles make great Christmas gifts so get an early start on your shopping! Stop by their tables after mass and see what’s new this year.
