During the month of November, we focus our
attention on those who have gone before us
marked with the sign of faith: family, friends,
neighbors, etc. The Catholic Community of Billerica will be commemorating our beloved
dead in a few different ways during this month. First, will be the solemn celebration of All Saints Day on No-
vember 1. Second, throughout the month of November, we will also pray for all our deceased whose names
are written on the Memorial Scrolls which can be found in a basket at the front entrance of all three church-
es, as well as those submitted through the All Souls Envelopes. The Memorial Scrolls will be accessible to an-
yone who would like to include the names of their loved ones in the liturgies throughout the month of No-
vember. Third, we will be having a Liturgy of Remembrance on November 3; 10am at Saint Andrew, 11:00am
at Saint Mary and Wednesday November 6 at 7pm at Saint Theresa, to remember all those whose funerals
we have had in the past year at these parishes.
We are also giving parishioners the opportunity to donate one of the following items used throughout the
year in our liturgies, in memory of their loved ones. If you would like to donate one of these gifts in memory
of a loved one, please can either call us at one of the rectory offices or stop by during office hours.
Celebrated at St. Andrew In honor of the Feast of the North American Mar-
tyrs, a special Mass was held at St. Andrew this past
weekend. The Mass was celebrated in French by
Fr. Kenneth Healey, SM and officiated by Bishop
Hennessey. They were joined by Father Aveni,
Deacon Michael, and Deacon Gerry. The St. An-
drew choir participated as well and were joined by
the French choir from Lowell. The day was a beau-
tiful success.
The office for our pasto-
ral associate, Adrienne
Cullen, has moved to St.
Theresa's Office. She
can now be reached at
978-663-8816.
