We hope you fared well through this tropical storm, which unfortunately adversely affected many. Thanks to Irma, our member tea scheduled for September 13 was postponed. We’ve rescheduled to Wednesday, October 11, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. Our venue remains the same: The Island House, 2658 Swygert Lane, John’s Island. Directions: Off River Road, between Main Road and Maybank Hwy. We can’t blame Irma for this one, however. The Sippin’ Sangria on the Stono, Paella Dinner has been postponed because our chef/entertainer has been delayed in his return to Charleston. We expect to reschedule this fun and important event which benefits the David & Karen Stahl Memorial Scholarship Fund. So, stay tuned for updates. The first of our Revels events is October 1st at the home of Gail and Mike Maginnis: Sounds of Nature with Yuriy and Friends. Hope you made your reservation; if not, you’re out of luck – this one sold out quickly. I heartily recommend you peruse the Revels brochure (the lovely green brochure you should’ve received about a month ago – the Revels information is also on our website and a summary is on the last page of this Keynotes) and sign up now for the events which appeal to you. Go online to https://csolinc.org/revels to make your reservations now. Spots are filling up fast.
