Many of our patients have already had their CoolSculpting® done and are very close to appreciating their results. If by some chance you haven’t heard, CoolSculpting® is now being offered at The Guyer Institute. CoolSculpting® is a revolutionary non-surgical contouring treatment that freezes stubborn fat, which then is naturally eliminated from your body. No needles are involved, no special diets required, no additional supplements, and best of all – this is not surgery! There is no downtime with this procedure. It’s FDA cleared, effective, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Say goodbye to muffin tops and love handles.CoolSculpting® is the coolest, most innovative, non-surgical way to lose those annoying bumps and bulges of stubborn fat. This revolutionary technology targets and cools unwanted fat cells in the selected area to induce a noticeable, natural-looking reduction in fat bulges.

Unlike most other methods of fat reduction, CoolSculpting® involves no needles, surgery, or downtime. As you can see from the photo, patients watch TV, work on their phones or ipads, read magazines, drink coffee and even eat lunch during this procedure. A person can have this procedure and literally return to whatever they were going to do that day – with absolutely no restrictions.

It’s safe, FDA-cleared and effective. Results look natural and can be seen as early as three weeks following treatment, with the most dramatic results after one to

three months.

Call us today to schedule your consultation, to find out if CoolSculpting® is right for you.

What will the results be?Many patients are satisfied after one treatment. However, during your consultation, we can discuss a treatment plan that will meet your specific treatment needs.

What happens during the treatment? To initiate the treatment we will position the device on your body. The device will then draw the bulge up between two cooling panels. The sensation is a firm pull and pressure - enough of a pull to ensure the selected tissue will be cooled most efficiently. An hour or so later, depending on your needs, you're done.

Can I return to normal activities after the procedure?CoolSculpting® is completely non-surgical, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately. Some patients experience redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness or discomfort in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely. Often time, patients return to work after the session is over.

When will I see results? You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after one to three months. Your body is still flushing fat cells and will continue doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.

Are the results permanent?During CoolSculpting®, the treated fat cells are eliminated. As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, long-term results should remain stable.

How do I get started?Call Denise Kaler, Health and Wellness Consultant at The Guyer Institute today to set up your complimentary consultation. She will determine if you're a good candidate for CoolSculpting® and work with you to develop a treatment plan.

Fear No Mirror... CoolSculpting® is Here!

After

Before

Carolyn's StoryAbout a year ago, I’d given up on ever losing the weight I had put on over the past 10 years. I tried everything out there and nothing worked. One day I saw an ad for SuperVision Weight Loss in Castleton. I called them and decided to try their HCG Weight Loss Program. I started the program in September of 2012and was amazed how easily the weight came off. The staff at SuperVision Weight

Loss were very supportive and helpful. They were always available to answer my questions. They even called me to help with my accountability. Yes, I had to follow the program, but with their direction I was able to lose weight and keep it off. I completed two rounds and lost 52 lbs. Losing the weight made me realize – I wasn’t as old as I felt! My blood pressure is down, my cholesterol is improving. My health, overall, is significantly improved from a year ago. It was absolutely worth it! I feel alive again and it’s all because I walked into SuperVision Weight Loss, Castleton and let them get me started on a new path.

Albert Schweitzer said "Success does not create happiness but happiness creates success."

Knowing how to process life allows you to make the most of it. The most enlightened people are those who process life by looking at it one of three ways. Could you look at life this way?

The first type of enlightenment has to do with something called "enlightenment hind sight." That’s when you engage in the normal routine of life and look back at it and know that you should've done something differently. Your boss criticizes you for not having your report ready and you say to yourself, "I should've stayed at work late last night to get that finished."

Your husband comes home and asks for a divorce and you say to yourself, "I should've seen that coming."

Your child gets benched on his soccer team and you tell yourself, “I should've spent more time working with him on his game."

The "shoulds" aren't really motivating but they do allow you some enlightenment in that it gives you an opportunity to look back and see the different choices you could make in the future.

The second type of enlightenment has to do with reframing. Something happens to you and you ask yourself what did I learn from it and how has it helped me to grow stronger?

Your boss criticizes you for not having that report ready. You tell yourself that you need to see this as an opportunity to change your life and create more structure so that your reports are always done two days before the due date. You create a calendar and make the needed changes that provide you the structure you need to feel organized and successful.

Your husband asks for a divorce and you tell yourself that you're going to invest more of your own personal time in relationships. You begin this process with your friends and your children and you feel empowered by your new insight. Your personal relationships flourish and you

develop a new form of intimacy that enhances every relationship you make. You feel blessed that your relationships are so solid.

Your child gets sidelined on the soccer team and you help your child to strategize how you might look at this as a teachable moment. As difficult as the situation is, you talk to your child about how he can support his team. You explain that this opportunity may help him be a coach someday because he is getting extra experience at observing the players in a different way.

The last type of enlightenment requires that you "play it forward" which means before you react you play it forward in your mind and decide what is the kindest and healthiest choice to make in perceiving a situation.

This may look like:Your boss criticizes you for not having the report ready and you use it as a guide to appreciate his feedback as opposed to getting defensive.

Your husband asks for a divorce and you react in love and not fear or anger.

Your child gets sidelined and you thank the coach for giving him extra time to mature and observe.

These three types of enlightenment create resiliency and insight. It doesn't insure that YOU get what you want but it insures that you decide how life will affect you. Practice using any of these types of enlightenment and notice how different you feel about you, your life and your situation.

– N.A. Noel, Artist

Until that time, my staff and I are grateful to continue to share my work with you in the Sanctuary. Please join us for an Open House from morning through evening on October 18. A full bar and refreshments will be available.

If you have not had the opportunity to see the Sanctuary, whether you are interested in the extraordinary, unique iconic building in downtown Zionsville, or my work, now would be a good time. It is my hope that whoever the new owner will be, that they too will realize their full potential here; as I have.

This year I have made the difficult decision to move my paintings to a new location that would provide greater challenges and international exposure. Several cities have been considered, from NY to LA. At the moment, I have my sights set on Aspen.

Admittedly, a country girl, I am pulled toward higher ground, both personally as well as professionally. I am a consummate creative. For me to stop painting or planning the vision for my next move, would be like stopping my heart.

For the past eight years, I have been blessed to own The Sanctuary Gallery, a few miles from my farm/studio in Zionsville. The Sanctuary is a surprisingly unassuming 18th century Victorian church on Main Street. This spectacular setting has been the primary home to my most comprehensive collection of paintings. It is here I have realized my true potential as an artist. It is because of the Sanctuary that it is time to leave the comfort and convenience of this extraordinary space.

The division of property is a key issue when a couple decides to divorce. Indiana is an equitable division state, which means the division must be fair but not necessarily equal. However, it is presumed that an equal division of the marital property is just and reasonable unless one of the parties is able to rebut the 50/50 presumption. Typically, all assets and debts, whether owned by one or both spouses, are considered part of the marital estate. This includes property owned or acquired by either spouse before or during the marriage or acquired through their joint efforts. In order to keep separate property, a couple should consider entering into a valid pre-nuptial agreement that classifies those items of property; the parties wish to keep separate in the event of a divorce. A court may consider separate property when dividing the estate, but without the pre-nuptial agreement, the court is not required to set the property aside as the separate property of one of the spouses. The court may consider the follow factors

in determining whether or not an equal distribution is appropriate: the contribution of each spouse to the acquisition of the property, regardless of whether the contribution was income producing; the extent to which the property was acquired by each spouse before marriage or through inheritance or gift; the economic circumstances of each spouse at the time of the disposition of the property, including the desirability of awarding the family residence or the right to dwell in the family residence for such periods as the Court considers just to a spouse having custody of any children; the conduct of the parties during the marriage as related to disposition or dissipation of their property; and the earnings ore earning ability of the parties related to a final division of property and final determination of property rights of the parties. It is especially important to discuss with an attorney or determine how the property should be valued and what, if any, tax consequences may result from the division of the marital estate.

Unbeknownst to many of us living in the wealthiest county in the state, many of our neighbors are wondering where their next meal will be coming from. Feeding America, from their 2014 Map the Meal Gap Study, estimates there are more than 28,000 food insecure individuals in Hamilton County. Being food insecure means you don’t have enough food now or uncertain access to enough food. This forces some very tough decisions, such as “Do I buy food for my children or do I pay my rent and utility bill?” Food insecurity includes 9.8% of our county’s total population, and 14.3% of children. Only 54% are likely eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP benefits. This increases

the reliance on local groups to help. The flip side of this stark story lies with our local food pantries.

Every week over 30 + food pantries in the county open their doors. Families are not judged, but met with a friendly face, a God Bless, and needed food. Some pantries serve about 20 families a week, some well over 200. If each family receives only 20+ items each week, this adds up to 400 – 4000 items each week that each pantry must stock. Making sure those shelves are not empty is a huge burden for the pantries to bear alone. Local pantries rely on many sources for their food needs, including their own churches and organizations, Gleaners Food

Bank, and Midwest Food Bank. One unique source we have in Hamilton County is the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, or HCH. This is a network of local food pantries, individual, and businesses who have joined together to help. Since our inception in 2009, we have collected and distributed over 200,000 lbs. of food; this past year alone has seen a 37% increase in food needed to meet the need.We are currently out of donated food, a situation familiar this time of year. Most donated food comes during the Holiday seasons. Most of that food is gone by August, which is also when the pantries are seeing some of their largest number of clients due to added back to school expenses. HCH is currently relying on monetary donations and gift cards to purchase needed food. Consider holding a food drive – we will work with you to make it successful and easy.We are located at 1605 N. 10th St. in Noblesville, in the same building as the White River Christian Church Food Pantry. The church has graciously provided warehouse space since our start. HCH is a full 501c3 not for profit and staffed

100% with volunteers. We welcome you to visit us on Thursdays 4-6 pm, or our website, hchfoodbank.org, or Facebook page, Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank. So to answer the original question “Who helps the food pantries?”, it can be you and I!

We believe in working together to help those less fortunate in our own community.

We Know our Local Food Pantry Helps the Community… But Who Helps the Food Pantry?. . .
