Hello, or should I say, BOO!, Now that we’ve started a new month there are some car show opportunities over the next few weeks. Please check the web site calendar, along with the newsletter for the dates and times. Murfee elementary is requesting come cars for October 26th. It’s that time of year when a lot of festivals and such will be occurring and many would like some cars to show. We’ve had some good ‘shows’ this past month, including the movie debut at Movies 16, Flatlanders and a few others. Thanks to Laura for the movie tickets, popcorn, etc, along with the good publicity. We grew with some more members from the car show and the show at the theatre. We had a terrific year financially, thanks to the show and all of the support from members and committee folks. We have opened some discussion on moving the annual show to early June. We will continue that discussion this Thursday and would like members comments. Also, it’s time to start working on our next ‘big’ event, the annual Christmas party. This year, a new location, thanks to Ronnie and Rene’. It’s at the Hillcrest country club on December 14th. The club will discuss dinner costs, menu and maybe some club involvement in covering the meal costs, which will likely be less this year than in the past. With the show date discussion and coming Christmas comments, I hope that you will please make the meeting this week. Again, if you can’t, but want your thoughts presented to the club, please contact an officer and we’ll gladly make your comments known at the meeting. John

also be fine).
I still need info on a lot of you for this newsletter, birthdays, anniversaries and pictures of
your cars for the website.
Speaking of the website, it now features a video player on the home page that has two
Lubbock Mustang videos plus a lot of other Mustang and Ford related stuff. It is constantly
updated, so check it out for current info on your favorite subjects.
