Innovative Developments
Landgate and Curtin University of Technology are joining forces, on a number of exciting research and development projects.
Projects include:
“Consistent Determination of High »Water Mark” – the development of a computer model to calculate high water mark for coastal zone management applications using various forms of spatial information as input data; and
“Managing Schema Evolution in a »Federated Spatial Database System” – research as to how spatial database models evolve over time and how these changes can be managed transparently without impact to user systems and applications.
Landgate’s Innovation Program Manager Jes Moore said that Landgate had collaborated with Curtin previously, with outstanding results.

decrease in the number of lots of 1.4.% from September 2009
(1,043) and a decrease of 28.3% from October 2008 (1,433).

During October 2009, the average number of days to register a transaction against a Certificate of Title was 4.1 days, an increase from the previous month of 3.6 days and met the Performance Indicator.

October 2009 recorded an average of 4.5 days to register a Certificate of Title over large subdivisions which met the Performance Indicator of 5 days.

During October 2009, 198 strata plans were lodged creating
1074 strata lots. There was an increase of 24.9% in the number
of strata lots created from September (860). which was a
decrease of 3.8% from October 2008 (1,116).
Number of new lots
New lots created by Freehold Survey Deposited Plans and by Strata Plans.
Includes existing lots that are extinguished but not subtracted.
A total of 2,102 new lots were created during October 2009, an
increase of 10.5% from September 2009 (1,903) and a 17.5%
decrease from October 2008 (2,549).
Time to register a transaction against a certificate of title
Target of 75% of Documents within 5.2 Days
During October 2009, the average number of days to register a
transaction against a Certificate of Title was 4.1 days, an
increase from the previous month of 3.6 days and met the
Performance Indicator.
Time to register a certificate of title for large subdivisions
Target of 5 days
October 2009 recorded an average of 4.5 days to register a
Certificate of Title over large subdivisions which met the
Performance Indicator of 5 days.
