A claim that could be made about whether physical or cultural geography plays a bigger role in how humans develop is that physical geography plays a bigger role. Water and mountains separate New York from other states.

Two pieces of evidence from the document are Lake Erie and Lake Ontario form the border on the West. The Adirondack Mountains are the border in the Northeast.
