OCTOBER 13, 2015 RICHLAND HILLS CHRISTIAN CHURCH THE CHURCH VISITOR The Proof of God’s Love I mentioned this song in my sermon on Sunday, and it is such a good song I thought it would be good to mention it again. “The Proof of Your Love” by For King and Country So let my life be the proof The proof of Your love. Let my love look like You And what You’re made of How You lived, how You died, Love is sacrifice So let my life be the proof The proof of Your love What is the proof of God’s love in our lives? Of course, the answer to this is really found in the Great Commandment. It is in the love we express for God and the love we express toward one another. So each moment we have been given, and how we use it for the benefit of others, indicates how we love others through the time we lovingly share. Think about how you spend your time each day and in every way. With the talents God has given us, do we use them to serve His kingdom? Think of what our choir’s music means to us each week. Generous sharing of our talents can really make a difference. Each of us is uniquely created for God’s purpose and plan. This coming week we will be hearing about money: How do we see our resources in the light of God’s provision? Do we give realizing that God has given us everything? Do we know a tithe is really a starting place, and that sacrificial giving is the New Testament goal? Think of the story of the widow’s mite where she gave out of all she had instead of from an excess. Giving is a question of faith. Do we believe that God is going to take care of us? This is learned by each of us individually. If we never push off from shore into the deeper waters of our faith, we never encounter the depth and breadth of God’s love. Let us learn together of God’s faithfulness as the new year approaches and become witnesses of God’s goodness and generosity. Let us be the proof of Christ’s love in the world where we live. Peace, Pastor Paul

The Proof of God’s LoveI mentioned this song in my sermon on Sunday, and it is such a good song I thought it would be good to mention it again.
“The Proof of Your Love” by For King and Country
So let my life be the proof The proof of Your love. Let my love look like You And what You’re made of How You lived, how You died, Love is sacrifice So let my life be the proof The proof of Your love
What is the proof of God’s love in our lives? Of course, the answer to this is r e a l l y f o u n d i n t h e G r e a t Commandment. It is in the love we express for God and the love we express toward one another. So each moment we have been given, and how we use it

Because You Love Them, Invite Them!!!
Every church has a culture. These cultures tell us much about what is important to that church. In growing churches, one of the most important elements of those cultures is a heart for the lost and a desire for others to find what we have found in our church family. It wasn’t that long ago we had 140 in church for Back to Church Sunday, so we know how to invite people. We shouldn’t do it once, and then think people will continue to come.
It has to become part of our DNA to become a congregation that every week swings the doors wide open for people to join us on the journey we are on with Christ.
Let’s open our hearts and speak of His love to the world around us.
