I am encouraged by the growing interest in TIME Task Force initiatives. From the well- attended quarterly meeting at the GSP headquarters in Atlanta to the upcoming commercial vehicle rescue course in Cartersville, participation is on the rise for all of our programs. I am also pleased that the recent quick clearance workshop conducted in Catoosa County with the I-95 Corridor Coalition has helped create a new traffic incident management (TIM) team to serve Gordon, Whitfield, Catoosa, Walker and Dade counties. Stay tuned — more TIME opportunities are on the horizon. We will update all events online at the TIMEtaskforce.com site. Virtually any item imaginable would be appropriate, especially fun package deals or vouchers for professional services. Other auction materials could include the tools and equipment necessary to perform daily job duties. The always-popular gift baskets will also be available. The TIME Task Force is encouraging businesses, agencies and individuals to engage in some “friendly competition” while creating the most desirable collection for bidders’ consideration.
